Liza Lapira was born in Queens, New York, a place known for producing tough-talking chicks. But this particular chick is as sweet as they come. She has been working steady since her debut in 2000 in the Winona Ryder film Autumn in New York (2000), oddly filmed in New York. From there she went on to star in numerous other New York-based films and TV shows, until Los Angeles-based "Huff" lured her away to the bright lights of Hollywood.
Her star has been on the rise since then, as she has been seen on TV shows such as "NCIS" and "Dollhouse" and will be in the upcoming films Repo Men (2010) and See You In September (2010). We'd personally like to see her as Ms. September, if you know what we mean. Actually, any month will do.
