Was #90 on Empire Magazine's 100 sexiest stars in film history. Also, Madeleine Stowe once pretended to be a reporter just to meet John Travolta. I think "pretended" is too subtle of a word, I believe it's called "stalking," but who cares she's hot. I wish I had a hot female stalker, but I digress.

Madeleine Stowe Life Story

Madeleine was born on Aug 18, 1958 in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, CA. According to Google Maps, Eagle Rock, Los Angeles is 8.7 miles north of Los Angeles. Stowe's parents Robert Stowe (Civil engineer) and Mireya Mora (Costa-Rican immigrant) raised Madeleine in Glendale ,CA along with her younger sister and brother. Being known for her introvert personality, she used her concert-pianist lessons as an excuse to be isolated from her adolescent peers. Well, that all ended when Stowe's piano teacher died at 96 years old. After the passing of her piano teacher she decided she didn't want to be alone anymore so she went on her first date in high school.

After high school, Madeleine attended University of Southern California (USC) to study journalism and cinema.Of course, it would only be short lived. Stowe had taken up acting at the Beverly Hills' Solaris theater. During the California Theater Circuit, Madeleine met with an agent who worked with Richard Dreyfuss (Gunsmoke & Close encounters of the third kind). This meeting would jump start her acting career.

During the year of 1981, she met actor Brian Benben in the miniseries, "The Gangster Chronicles." Madeleine fell in love and the two married in 1986. To this day the two are still married and have two children.

Madeleine Stowe Career

From 1978 to 1987 Stowe would only appear on screen in TV series and TV films. She finally had a movie role in the feature film, Tropical Snow, unfortunately the movie was never released to the public until 3 years after production. From there she would go on to accumulate 25 roles in movie films and TV series. Some of her work included Stake Out, Unlawful Entry, The Last of the Mohican's, Twelve Monkeys, The General's Daughter, We Were Soldiers, Octane , Southern Comfort, and a 2007 mid-season television drama series Raines
