Maeghan Major Introduction
Maeghan Major is not only a two time woman's World Wakeboard Champion she is also the record co-holder of the Guinness Book of World Records for "most major titles held in a single season".
Life Story
Born in Springfield Missouri in 1984 Maeghan spent summers on Table Rock lake. Always one to take on a challenge, she first began riding a wakeboard against her father's better judgment. In 1999 the family moved to Orlando, Florida so that Maeghan could pursue a career as a professional. Shortly after relocating Maeghan went on to win every major title in the sport.
Maeghan has also pursued a career in swim suit modeling and "action" television commercials. She can be seen in ads from Ford Motor Car Co., JL Audio and MasterCraft boats to name a few.
A Private pilot and owner of her own airplane, a Cirrus SR22GTS, Maeghan flies herself to all the wake events throughout the US. In 2008 Maeghan graduated from Queens University and is currently pursuing equestrian sports.
