Maggie Siff is an American actress best known for her television roles, notably department-store heiress Rachel Menken on the AMC drama "Mad Men" and prodigal girlfriend Dr. Tara Knowles on the FX drama "Sons of Anarchy."
Growing up with a father who was also a stage actor, among her earliest memories are watching his father perform on stage. As a child, she always knew she wanted to be an actress. Most of her work as a theater actress were done in New York and Philadelphia. She has appeared in several theater productions, some of which has earned her nods from respectable theater award-giving bodies including a Jefferson Award nomination for Outstanding Leading Actress in the Goodman Theater's production of Dollhouse.
In 2006, Maggie spent more time in Los Angeles, California, doing guest spots in television series such as "Grey's Anatomy" and "Nip/Tuck" before landing her role on "Mad Men."
