Mostly known as the insanely attractive weather girl for UPN13 news in Los Angeles, Maria has ventured into acting and has guest starred on shows such as 24, and Everybody Hates Chris.

Maria Quiban Life Story

Maria was born in Hawaii, but graduated from Alea High School. In Los Angeles she started doing the weather in 2000, and although she's got a blossoming television and movie career, pointing at clouds and saying, "It's gonna be sunny," it is a pretty sweet gig to give up. Hence she still does it.

When she's not on camera she's studying for her meteorology degree from Mississippi State University through correspondence courses, which is nice since she doesn't have to actually go to Mississippi. Her biggest role was in the Clint Eastwood directed Blood Work, where she played a murdered woman whose heart is transplanted into the body of Eastwood's character. Since then, she's only played non-murdered women, which is good for her career.
