Jana Defi was born January 10, 1984 in Prague, Czechoslovakia to a Czech mother and an Italian father, where she lived with her two sisters and brother.

Maria came into the world spotlight when she posed nude on Busty.PL, an internet adult website. Soon afterward, she was discovered by UK fashion magazines, where she has been featured with Lucy Pinder and Michelle Marsh in Loaded.
