Mia was born and raised outside of San Francisco in Berkeley, California, but moved to southern California after high school to attend UCLA, School of Theater. The day before her graduation from UCLA, Mia left the states to study with the theatre troupe 'Alas De Cabri' who perform with the Verona Opera House in Italy. She moved to London and engaged with ASAD, an intensive acting school headed by Russian director Sam Kogan, who refers to his method as "Beyond Stanislavski."
Encouraged to follow her dreams as a child, Mia is an artist by nature and nurture. She is a DJ and plays in several bands. She also enjoys making experimental films with whomever will amuse her ideas and started writing her first novel when she was 21.
