Michaela, an American film and TV actress, is a Rhode Island native who became known for her role as Lindsay Strauss, Chad Michael Murray's love interest in the 5th season of CW's One Tree Hill.
Though a relatively new name in the entertainment industry during the Fall of 2008, Michaela's face has been widely and quickly known by One Tree Hill fans around the world as the girl that stands between Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Lucas (Murray) in the hit drama.
She left One Tree Hill in May 2008 to take a role on Law and Order:SVU as Assistant District Attorney Kim Greyleck, taking over for the disbarred Casey Novak (Diane Neal). McManus was widely panned and lasted only 14 episodes of the 10th season of SVU, where she was replaced by Stephanie March (Alexandra Cabot), who was in turn replaced on the show by Neal in
