Michele Morrow

Actress/Artist Michele Morrow grew up in the Pacific Northwest and received a Bachelor of Arts in Drama at the University of Washington in Seattle before moving to the homogenized sunshine of Los Angeles. Michele was immediately accepted to the famed Second City Conservatory Program upon arriving. She was also hired as a writer and performer of the high-energy, rebellious sketch comedy troupe SITCOMS BLOW.

It wasn’t long before Michele transitioned from the stage to the screen, appearing in award winning films such as THE SEER, an Italian feature, where her portrayal of a tormented young woman who suffers from disturbing visions gained her attention at the Estepona Film Festival in Spain. Michele went on the be seen in several other independent films, including SLAUGHTERHOUSE OF THE RISING SUN, STORY, and CHARM BRACELET, as well as the critically acclaimed television series, ALIAS and soap opera THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS.

Recently familiarized as a modern day “Scream Queen“, Michele claimed her crown with a string of deft genre performances through 2008 and 2009 — from strong and loyal girlfriend, Jenny, in THE SILO, to Karen Cook; the vengeful and determined survivor in BASEMENT JACK. 2009 – 2010 will boast several releases for the young actress. Michele stars as the frightened and vulnerable Kerra in modern day vampire tale, BLED, a Lionsgate feature, directed by Christopher Hutson and produced by Jeffrey Allard (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Hutson recently invited her back to play the role of Sezah in Fatkid Films’ dark comedy, ASHLEY’S ASHES, where she joins an all-star cast including Orsen Bean (Being John Malcovich), Daniel Baldwin, Willy Garson (Sex & The City), and Scott Michael Foster (ABC’s Greek). Besides acting, Michele is known for her coveted collage series, RECYCLED ROCK. She also is a co-producer for DUMPERPUSS PRODUCTIONS and is looking forward to seeing their first docu-soap, CAT TALES RESCUE, on television by mid 2010. Also in their line up is a horror film, and a couple of video game based reality shows.
