Nadine Angerer (b.10th November 1978) is a German soccer player who plays in goal. She has played for Germany since 1997 when her first international cap was against the Netherlands as well as playing for Frauen-Bundesliga. She holds the most consecutive record for not scoring a goal in World Cup play. Her career started as forward with ASV Hofsteffen before realizing her potential as a goalkeeper after injury to the playing keeper. In 1995 she moved to FC Nuremberg and the following year in 1996 she moved again to FC Wacker Munich. And then in 1999 she transfered to FC Bayern Munchen where she helped them bring to top division and stayed with the team in 2001. In 2000 she helped her team won the bronze medal at the Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. She came back in 2004 playing for FFC Turbine Potsdam where became a German Cup winner in 2004 and 2006. On September 30, 2007 her team won the Women's Soccer World Cup Final. She switched in 2008 to a Swedish team named Djurgardens IF Dam.
