Nikki Bella

Nicole Garcia born November 21, 1983 is a professional wrestler under the ring name Nikki Bella.

Nikki along with her twin sister Brianna or Brie is currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment under the SmackDown Brand. They were born in San Diego, California and were raised in Scottsdale, Arizona in a family of Mexican and Italian descent. They were into soccer when they were in college and done modeling, acting and promotional work before they were hired as professional wrestler.

Their first appearance on national TV was on the Fox reality show “Meet My Folks” and then they were hired as World Cup Twins for Budweiser and posed holding the World Cup Trophy. In 2006 they joined the “International Body Doubles Twins Search” and the 2006 WWE Diva Search but did not make the cut. In 2007, along with her sister Bella, Nikki was signed to developmental programs of WWE and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in Tampa, Florida. Dubbed as the Bella Twins, they made their debut in FCW by defeating Nattie Neidhart, now Natalya, and Krissy Vaine with Victoria Crawford as the guest referee last September 15, 2007. The battle between the four Divas continued throughout October 2007 where part of their on-screen personas they would switch places behind the referee’s back when one of them got hurt. The twins went on to compete in mixed tag team matches with Kofi Kingston and Robert Anthony. Their last appearance in FCW was on September 2, 2008 when they competed in a Divas Battle Royal which was won by Miss Angela.

On August 29, 2008 Brie debuted in SmackDown and defeated Victoria. She then had a scripted feud with Victoria and her accomplice, Natalya, and got into several matches with them. In each match, Brie would disappear underneath the ring and would emerge revitalized and then win the match. The week after the October 31st match between Victoria and Brie where Victoria was able to grab Brie’s legs before she can fully hide underneath the ring, Victoria and Natalya were able to pull Brie along with Nikki out underneath the ring. The twins then attacked them and won. It was on the November 21 episode of SmackDown when the twins officially competed as a team and defeated Victoria and Natalya.

They continued to fight as a team until March 17, 2009 when Carlito and Primo accidentally spat apples in the face of Brie which was originally aimed at Morrison and the Miz. Nikki laughed at Brie’s misfortune which resulted in a fight between them and resulted to Nikki leaving with John Morrison and the Miz while her sister Brie stayed with Carlito and Primo. Their first match was in a 6-person inter-gender tag team where Nikki was defeated by her twin sister. However, in March 31, Nikki defeated Brie on the March 31st episode of SmackDown after John Morrison and The Miz caused a distraction.
