Pallavi Sharda is an Indian-Australian film/theatre actress and dancer, trained in the classical Indian dance form of Bharatha Natyam. Born in Perth and brought up in Melbourne she is currently based out of Mumbai. Her Bollywood debut came in the comedic-drama film, Dus Tola, in which she played the role of Geeta 'the village dance teacher' opposite actor Manoj Bajpayee. Dus Tola hit Indian theatres on 22 October 2010 and Pallavi's performance harnessed critical acclaim. Pallavi's second release, an Indo-American film called Walkaway was released on 29 October 2010 across the USA. In March 2010 Pallavi was crowned 'Miss India Australia' in Sydney. Pallavi's latest Bollywood venture, Love Breakups Zindagi released on 7 October 2011. Pallavi is the lead actress in the theatrical musical, 'Taj Express' directed by Shruti Merchant and choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. Pallavi is about to make her Australian film debut with comedy film Save Your Legs.
