Pauley Perrette hit the acting jackpot when she was offered the role of Abby Sciuto on the hit show NCIS. Not only did the part help out her acting career (She got the part while working as a bartender), but before getting the role, she was studying to get her Masters degree in Criminal Science, so her knowledge comes in handy on the set.
Pauley is also a poet and spoken word performer, as well as the lead singer in the all girl band Lo-Ball. Lo-Ball was included on the soundtrack of Legally Blonde.
Though NCIS is her bread and butter, Perrette has appeared in many TV shows including 24 (Elisha Cuthbert, Kim Raver), Dawson's Creek (Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams) and The Drew Carey Show. She's also appeared in films such as Almost Famous (Kate Hudson), The Ring (Naomi Watts) and Potheads: The Movie. She will get her first staring role in a film in 2008 with Satan Hates You.
