Central Maine is good for producing two things: total rednecks and ultra-hot white girls. Rachel Nichols is no exception to the latter.
Rachel won her first auditioned role, which was was that of an orgy-loving restaurant hostess in a 2002 episode of Sex and the City. Her parents were not allowed to worry that she would become a dumb Hollywood whore, as she had recently graduated from Columbia University with a double major in Math and Economics.
While at Columbia college, Nichols landed numerous modeling gigs for companies like Abercrombie and Guess. Her first big movie roll was in the total piece of shit Dumb and Dumberer. But since no one, particularly casting directors, took their time to watch it, Nichol’s career survived. She landed seventeen episodes of Alias, a gig that brought her a high level of visibility. She starred in the horror/thriller about a woman stuck in a parking garage, entitle P2 with good reviews, and co-star in Charlie Wilson's War (2007), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008) and For Sale by Owner (2008) (post-production).
In 2009, Rachel appears in Star Trek (2009) as Gaila an Orion cadet at Starfleet Academy, and stars in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) as Shana 'Scarlett' O'Hara, a role that could possibly take her career to the next level.
Nichols wed Universal producer Scott Stuber in June 2008, but they were married for just 7 months before filing for divorce (citing "irreconcilable differences") in February 2009.
