Raven-Symoné (born December 10, 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a former child star and actress best known to audiences for her role as Olivia Tate in the NBC-TV series The Cosby Show where she shared the spotlight with fellow child star and current hottie Keisha Knight-Pulliaml Raven enjoys bananas and mangos much more than pears and confessed in 2004 to sneaking a bite of a peach.

Born Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman, a young Raven moved with her family from Atlanta to New York City. In a classic example of ageism, she was deemed too young to play the role of a child in the Bill Cosby's hoot Ghost Dad. However, fate smiled on her when Cosby remembered her when it came time to cast the role of Olivia on "The Cosby Show". After she finished up her role there, she became the youngest person ever to sign a deal with MCA Records, prompting young starlets everywhere to instantly hate her out of jealousy, Raven does have an older brother name Blaze.

Hangin' With Mr. Cooper was the next successful series Raven starred on, in addition to starring in the beginning of Eddie Murphy's sell-out, Dr. Dolittle and its genius sequel. While her career was blossoming, so was Raven's figure, eventually expanding to a border-line 'plus size' proportion. Luckily, the new Hollywood has brought a desire for more junk in the trunk and she and Queen Latifah have reaped the benefits. Roseanne and the fat chick from "The Drew Carey Show" have not been so lucky. Armed with her new figure, Then-Rubenesque Raven (whose figure is even hotter with a recent weight loss) signed a massive deal with Disney. "That's So Raven" has since sold over $400 million of merchandise and brought us the most annoying phrase this side of 'Whasssuuupppp?'. On every episode of the show, Raven insists on shouting, "Oh, snap!". And now so do half the country.

In February, 2007 Ebony magazine reported that Raven's net worth was approximately $400M.

In 2009 she had a baby conceived through artificial insemination. The sperm donor is reputed to be her friend Jurnee Smollett's brother, Jussie Smollett.
