Richa Chadda

Richa Chadda is an Indian theater and film actor. She made her debut with a critically acclaimed performance in Oye Lucky Lucky Oye (2008).Richa Chadda was born and bought up in Delhi. After completing her schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, she graduated with a bachelors in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. Chadda later went on to get a PG Diploma in Social Communications Media from Sophia Polytechnic. She is a passionate reader and an independent thinker, she has a strong sense of politics and has participated in activities that contribute towards social change. Chadda as a student was equally interested in academics and cultural activities, which made her an all rounder at school. This zeal for both was instrumental in enhancing her personality. Chadda began her career as a model and then she moved to theater. She performed plays touring all over India and Pakistan. Later she was trained under Barry John.
