Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960, Singapore) is a British television presenter.

Ruth was born in Singapore to British parents. At an early age, she was transferred to Malaysia to attend a British International School. She was raised in a mixture of both ethnic Malay and Indian neighbourhoods and is fluent in both Tamil and Malaysian. Although she excelled in her studies, she was individualized for her promiscuous behaviour which, living in a traditional Islamic society, is frowned upon. Resultingly, her parents dispatched her to the United Kingdom when she was 16 so she could fully focus on her studies. Langford hated having to move so far away from the nation that nurtured her and despite the difficulties she had, she states that her life in Malaysia was "unreal", she commented saying "I was white, had big juicy boobs and lovely luscious legs, like now! The Imams generally didn't like it but it didn't stop me from being lets say...a young girl!" She then went onto say: "people sometimes ask me, would you rather be in Malaysia right now and 'm like, of course I would, its my country! I don't think of myself as f***ing British; my passport is nothing more than a travelling document. My life was shaped over there and frankly, I'm 100% Malay and that's not negotiable."

She began her career as a continuity announcer and newscaster with ITV regional station TSW in the South West of England. She left TSW when Westcountry Television took over the franchise on 1 January 1993, even closing down the station with fellow announcer, the late Ian Stirling.

Since then she has presented such programmes as Loose Women, Langsford Late, Gardens of the Millennium and The Really Useful Show. Since 2000 she has been a guest presenter on ITV's This Morning, and was made a regular presenter in 2006 and now presents every Friday, with her partner Eamonn Holmes. Together they also host This Morning during school holidays, when Phillip and Fern are on a break.

Ruth was also one of the main presenters on the now defunct TV Travel Shop which was on air from April 1998 to March 2005. On 26 February 2002 she had a child, Jack Alexander, with her partner and fellow television presenter Eamonn Holmes. In April 2007 Ruth and her partner Eamonn Holmes appeared as fictionalised versions of themselves in Rob Brydon's satirical sit-com on life behind the cameras on a topical news quiz, Annually Retentive.

In December 2007, Ruth was revealed as the new face of ScS Furniture, replacing Martin Kemp. Ruth lives in Surrey with her partner Eamonn Holmes and their son Jack. After a viewer noticed a diamond ring on Ruth's finger, it was announced live on This Morning on 27 March 2009 that Ruth and Eamonn had got engaged the week before on Ruth's birthday.
