It is amazing how much we lrneaed when we were doing the adoption stuff. They made us do/learn stuff that we NEVER would have done for our bio kids . things like making sure our water heater is turned down and knowing CPR and having a carbon monoxide alarm and blah, blah, blah. Now we only do that stuff when the social worker is coming over (seriously, who DOESN"T keep their dishwasher liquid below the sink? We don't when the SW is coming over or she will take our kids away .) ..This sounds like it has good advice for all parents but has the potential up the guilt factor
