Shantel VanSanten Career

Shantel was a contestant on the short-lived NBC reality show "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search." She was one of the first contestants eliminated, presumably because she was the only contestant without ginormous breasts.

She managed to get acting work in a couple of minor TV movies before being cast opposite Mischa Barton in the movie You and I (2008), which may get a theatrical release in 2009. Shantel and Mischa play two teenage girls who fall in love after meeting at a t.A.T.u concert.

In 2009 Shantel had a guest spot on an episode of "CSI: NY" and a recurring role on "One Tree Hill." Other small screen work for Shantel includes a commericial for Clean & Clear with fellow actress Kayla Ewell. She was in a number of recent movies including In My Pocket (2009), The Final Destination (2009) and Something Wicked (2010).
