Sofia Vergera

Sofia Vergara is a Colombian model and actress who you probably have never heard of, but may have dreamt about. She has graced the pages of Maxim and starred in TV shows such as Entourage and Wild On! She is a devout Catholic, so the odds of her hanging out with your sinful ass are slim to none.

Most women dream about becoming models and living fabulous, easy lives, but not Sofia. She had to be talked into the business after a photographer discovered her on a Colombian beach. After much coaxing, she agreed to audition for a Pepsi commercial that was shown all over Latin America when she was 17 years old. It ended up being the best decision she ever made for herself, and men across the world didn’t complain either. She soon dropped out of college and earned a living through modeling to support her son. When she turned 20, she transitioned from being a runway and commercial model into a TV personality. From 1995 to 1999, she co-hosted the Spanish-language programs Fuera de serie ("Out of the Ordinary") and A que no te atreves ("Over the Top").

Sofia is now divorced with one child. She is slated to appear on the Colombian version of Desperate Housewives, so you better start learning Spanish.

In the Fall of 2009 Sofia began starring on the new TV show "Modern Family" on ABC.
