Sonia Ferrer Life Story
The only daughter of Victoria González and Josep Ferrer. Sonia grew up wanting to be an actress. Her dreams came true, when she was offered a role on a 13-episode mini-series called Happy House. From there, her career took off and she is now a presenter for the TVE, which is the national state-run television network in Spain. She has been the host of the popular show Gente.
She appears in numerous shows on the network, and plays a part on the soap opera Moon, which also airs on the TVE. Before becoming a TV star, Ferrer studied ballet for six years in Paris and studied "Writing and Presentation in Radio and TV." She currently has no plans to make the crossover to American TV, but we can still hold out hope.
In 2007, she announced plans to marry her long-time boyfriend Marco Vricella.
