Stacey Cadman was born in Sutton Coldfield, England. Stacey is the eldest of two sisters and one brother and was raised by Sue and Graham Cadman, a loving middle class family. At the age of 3 Stacey started dancing and then went on to join The Birmingham Stage School it was here she started her professional career performing at the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre.
As a child Stacey’s first television debut was as a babe singing with Danny La Rue at Birmingham’s Pebble Mill Studios. Stacey then auditioned for The Birmingham Youth Contempory Dance Company travelling around the country. Stacey went to John Willmott Secondary School, Stacey was a hard working student and achieved 10 G.C.S.E’s. After leaving school in Sutton Coldfield, Stacey studied performing arts and Dance at Joseph Chamberlain College, achieving 4 ‘A’Level’s. She followed this with a course in Musical theatre at the The Arts Educational Schools in London graduating in the summer of 2001.
Her first break came when she was chosen from hundreds of actresses for the leading role in the BBC TV series Cavegirl. After filming two series in the wilds of South Africa and winning “Best Children’s” programme at the PACT Awards, she was then picked for one of the starring roles in Sky One's series Mile High. Stacey then went on to film BBC’s comedy Love Soup.
Ben Elton wrote Stacey a character called “Bling” in his comedy Blessed after seeing Stacey audition. Other television credits include a guest role in BBC’s Casualty. Stacey also appeared as Mandy Rice Davies in Keeler, directed by Paul Nicholas, Upstairs at the Gatehouse Theatre in North London March 2007.
As well as Channel 4's Monster Jam 2005 series she has also co-presented Smile and The Saturday Show. She is an accomplished dancer, voiceover artist and fully trained kick-Boxing Instructor for the PKA achieving her black belt in 2006.
Stacey recently took part in Sky One's reality show Cirque de Celebrité and was the female winner!
