Talulah Riley first appeared as the teenage Angela Warren in the ITV adaptation of Agatha Christie's "Five Easy Pigs". After a gap of a couple of years, she landed her first movie role in the 2005 cinematic adaptation of "Pride & Prejudice", in which she portrayed Mary Bennet. That didn't immediately kick-start her film career; inbetween, she made "The Summer House" and starred in a TV adapatation of a Miss Marple mystery "The Moving Finger". Her breakthrough film role came in the shape of Annabelle Fritton in the first "St Trinians" movie to be made since the disappointing "Wildcats Of St Trinians" in 1980. 2008 has seen her follow her friend and co-star Carey Mulligan into a guest part on "Doctor Who", and don the title of the McCartney composition "Eleanor Rigby" for the BBC Three pilot "Phoo Action". Next up for her, filmwise, is Richard Curtis's film about pirate radio, "The Boat That Rocked".
