Taylor Cole was a gifted high school athlete who traveled the United States with the Junior Olympics volleyball squad. Her good looks were noticed, and she was signed as a professional model. After a couple of years of modeling Taylor broke into acting while visiting her mother and step-father, actor Shawn Christian, in Los Angeles. Shawn hooked her up with an audition on his television show, Summerland, and her career took off. Surprisingly, it seems that being extraordinarily hot, fit, and well-connected is a formula that equals success.
Taylor Cole was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, by her mother, Deborah Quinn. She and her half brother, Kameron, attended Lamar High School. Taylor graduated in 2002 after touring the country with her Junior Olympic volleyball team, and went immediately into modeling on an international scale. She landed commercial work for Crest, Old Spice, and Dooney & Bourke. She was just considering relocating to New York City to pursue modeling full-time when she took a short vacation to Los Angeles. That vacation turned out to be laced with luck, and a healthy dose of nepotism, when her step-father landed her a role on the TV show he was working on, Summerland.
Branching out from her starring role on Summerland, Taylor has gone on to land additional roles in television shows CSI, Supernatural, Numb3rs, and CSI: Miami. In addition, she’s been in feature films, All You’ve Got, Movin G, Loaded, and An American in China.
Taylor’s put her burgeoning acting career on the back burner to attend college at the University of Arizona, in Tucson. Taylor’s decision was an extremely grounded step, although, it has surely chagrined the 15,000 female co-eds she’ll be joining who will be juxtaposed against her stunning beauty. Good luck ladies of Tucson.
