Tessa Thompson Life Story

Thompson was born in Los Angeles in 1983. Her father is in a band called Chocolate Genius, and her grandfather is Bobby Ramos who used to host the show Latin Cruise. In the fifth grade, she made her stage debut as a tapdancing wolf alongside fellow future hottie Amber Tamblyn. Thompson attended high school at Santa Monica High, where she was surely one of the hottest girls. While in high school she appeared in the movies He Got Game and Every Day People. Thompson's most popular is that of Jackie Cook on the show Veronica Mars, which co-stars Kristen Bell. Following the end of Mars, Thompson went on to the short lived CW show Hidden Palms. Thompson has also made guest appearances on Grey's Anatomy

Though she is most famous for her roles on TV, Thompson is actually a more accomplished stage actress. She is a featured player at The Colony Theatre in Burbank, California. She's done everything from Grease to Romeo and Juliet there. For her role in Romeo and Juliet, Thompson was nominated for an NAACP image award.

Upcoming roles for Thompson include the dramas Periphery and Make It Happen, which are to be released in 2008.
