Trisha was born to Uma and Krishnan on the fourth day of may in 1983. She was a successful model, she took part in the Miss India 2001 competition alongside the likes of aishwarya rai and sushmistha sen and won the Miss Beautiful Smile.

She broke into the film industry with movies like Lesa Lesa and Mounam Pesiyadhe. Her popularity in south indian films contributed to her move to other languages such as telugu, where she has been a very popular actress.
