Victoria Coren is a writer, broadcaster and poker player. She writes for a range of British newspapers, has written two books and presents various radio and TV programmes for the BBC and Channel 4.
The daughter of the late humourist and journalist Alan Coren and sister of journalist Giles Coren, she is a graduate of St John's College, Oxford.
Vicky is the first woman to win an EPT tournament, as well as being the first player to win both a televised celebrity event and a televised professional event, with Celebrity Poker Club for Challenge TV and EPT London 2006
Vicky does not travel the poker circuit full-time and makes most of her poker income in cash games, playing only a handful of tournaments per year, but she has also made a final table in Channel 4's Premier League Poker and accrued official lifetime tournament winnings of over $1,200,000. She writes a poker column in The Guardian, and does presenting/commentary for several poker series on Channel 4 and other stations. Vicky is a member of PokerStars Team Pro.
