Zuleikha Robinson Introduction

Zuleikha Robinson is an English actress, raised in Thailand and Malaysia by a Burmese-Indian mother and an English father. Her name means "beautiful one" in Persian. No pressure there.

Zuleikha Robinson Career

Zuleikha will be joining the cast of the hit series "Lost" in January 2009. Perhaps she can tell us what the hell is going on on that island. She was recently in the shortlived Fox series "New Amsterdam" as detective Eva Marquez and played Gaia on the HBO series "Rome." She is perhaps best known for playing Yves Adele Harlow in "The X-Files" spin-off, "The Lone Gunmen." (Assuming anybody actually remembers that show.)

As far as film roles go, she starred oppisite Viggo Mortensen in the adventure film Hidalgo (2004) and took Shakespeare out for a spin playing Jessica in The Merchant of Venice (2004). Zuleikha played a sexy Bengali character called Moushumi Mazumdar in Mira Nair's acclaimed movie The Namesake (2006).

She is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
