Everyone makes fun of this margarita recipe. That is, until they try it. Then they can’t get enough of it — which is a good thing considering that it yields 48 ounces of refreshing, limey booze.

It’s just a rather lowbrow margarita that happens to be made with Corona, Fresca, tequila, and a can of frozen limeade. It’s a little tart, a little sweet, and perfectly effervescent. Whatever you call it, it’s delicious.

It’s also incredibly easy to make. It’s equal parts everything, and all but the tequila come in a 12-ounce package. I just use the limeade can to measure the tequila — which also ensures I get every last drop of lime goodness out of it.

Beer Margarita

12 ounces (1 bottle) Corona
12 ounces (1 can) Fresca
12 ounces (1 can) frozen limeade
12 ounces tequila

Method: Add all ingredients to a pitcher, stir with a wooden spoon until the frozen limeade is dissolved, and serve over ice in whatever salted or unsalted glass or plastic cup you prefer.
