Beer Bourbon Cocktail


  1. 1½ ounces bourbon
  2. 1 ounce Grand Marnier
  3. ½ ounce simple syrup
  4. 5 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
  5. 3 ounces light ale beer

How to Make It

Add the bourbon, Grand Marnier, simple syrup and bitters to a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Shake well, and strain into a chilled glass with ice. Top off with the beer, stir gently and enjoy.

Why We Like It

This week, we’re classing it up with a beer-bourbon cocktail. Unlike the typical beer cocktail, which is generally made with a bit of booze, maybe something else, and lots of beer, this one has a more balanced booze-to-beer ratio.
