How to Make It

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Shake well, strain into a coupe glass, and enjoy.

Why We Like It

Roses are red and super clichéd. Plus, blood oranges are in season right now. So, this Valentine’s Day, skip the overpriced flowers and mix up a fragrant, seasonal cocktail instead. The Bloody Valentine features fresh-squeezed blood orange juice, and gets floral notes from Hendrick’s Gin (which is infused with rose and cucumber) as well as St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur. We finish with a splash of ginger liqueur—because everyone knows ginger is an aphrodisiac.
