How to Make It
Add the ingredients to the cocktail shaker, plus a handful of ice. Shake it really, really, really well (if you don’t, you’ll end up with egg-yolk bits in your drink). Strain it into a chilled glass, garnish with freshly grated nutmeg, and enjoy. Note: To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water on the stove until it reaches a boil. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before using. You can make a big batch of this stuff, and it will keep for a really long time in a jar in the fridge. Agave nectar will work in a pinch.
