Why We Like It

The biggest winner of last Sunday’s Super Bowl wasn’t Tom Brady, or even the owner of the New England Patriots. The real hero was a backup dancer for Katy Perry. Bryan Gaw, the man known primarily as “the Left Shark,” earned Internet fame this week for his erratic dance moves while wearing a shark costume during Perry’s Super Bowl Halftime performance. The Left Shark has inspired GIFs, memes, and even a tattoo. Now, the Left Shark has a namesake cocktail. It tastes a little like a daiquiri, a lot like a cherry limeade, and exactly like a teenage dream (disclaimer: it’s for adults only).
