  2. ½ ounce Aperol
  3. 2 ounces champagne or prosecco

How to Make It

Add the grapefruit juice and Aperol to the glass, then top it off with the bubbly. Enjoy. *Manually squeezing a really ripe grapefruit will yield about 4-6 ounces of juice.

No, that’s not a typo — it’s a Momosa. Similar to the mimosa, this special Mother’s Day brunch cocktail is made with champagne and freshly squeezed citrus juice. But this is an enhanced version. For The Momosa, all you need is some freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice (the red ones are much sweeter than the yellow ones), champagne or prosecco (the cheap stuff will do since you’re mixing it), and Aperol, an orange aperitif. It’s sweet enough for Mom — and might even become her new favorite drink when you tell her you created it just for her — but not too sweet to sip all afternoon.
