How to Make It

Add the sugar and bitters to the bottom of a rocks glass, then muddle them together with the end of a wooden spoon. Add the whiskey and stir well (until the sugar is dissolved, at least 30 seconds), then top it off with a handful of ice or one large ice cube. Twist the orange peel to release its oils, garnish the drink and enjoy while cheering on your favorite team.

Why We Like It

There are differing opinions on how one should make an Old Fashioned, but I like to make mine by muddling a little sugar with the combination of Angustora and orange bitters, and mixing it with lots of my favorite rye whiskey, Old Overholt.
