How to Make It

Add all ingredients, plus a handful of ice, to a cocktail shaker. Shake it like Sandra Bullock in a Shenzhou. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with an orange (or lemon) twist.

Why We Like It

The Oscar Buzz, is a bastardized version of an old classic, The Tuxedo. A gin-based cocktail originally made with sherry and garnished with a lemon, The Tuxedo sounds like something attendees would have been sipping at the afterparty for the first Academy Awards in 1929. Since it’s not 1929, you might not have sherry in your liquor cabinet, so The Oscar Buzz calls for dry vermouth instead.
