How to Make It
On a plate, torch juniper berries until they’re on fire, then place your upturned glass over the berries to extinguish the flame and catch the smoke. Add the lemon juice and gin to a mixing glass and stir to combine. Flip the smoked glass over with the plate, letting the berries fall to the bottom. Add fresh ice to the glass and fine-strain the mixture over the ice. Add tonic and give it a quick stir. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
