  1. 1 oz rye whiskey
  2. .75 oz Campari
  3. .25 oz vanilla liqueur
  4. 1 barspoon Fernet-Branca
  5. .5 oz Jamaican rum
  6. Flamed orange peel

How to Make It

Stir the rye, Campari, liqueur and Fernet with ice until well chilled and strain over ice in a rocks glass. Float the rum on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon and garnish with a flamed orange peel.

Why We Like It

This is a great drink to keep in your repertoire if you like the spiciness of rye and the bitterness of Fernet and Campari. In some ways it’s a riff on a Boulevardier (a Negroni with rye instead of gin), but in other ways its entirely its own cocktail. Make one today and drink like a boss.
