One of 2013’s most critically acclaimed films, Her is unlike just about anything else you’ve seen in recent years. It’s a peculiar but gloriously played love story about a lonely man (Joaquin Phoenix) developing a relationship with a computer operating system (voiced by Scarlett Johansson). Sure, that sounds bizarre, but Her is much more than weird. It’s a testament to the beauty that lies in the smallest things, a rumination on the nature of love, and a one-man masterpiece of acting from one of the generation’s best actors. Her is hypnotic and illuminating and full of life in a way that takes multiple viewings to appreciate.

We’re pumped to premiere this exclusive bonus-features clip from the Her Blu-ray (which hits stores today). The clip is an highly stylized look at the behind-the-scenes making of the moment in the film when Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) first sees the OS1 commercial while walking around the city. It’s a great peek behind the curtain that includes smoke-filled shots of producer-writer-director Spike Jonze and various crew members filming one of Her’s iconic scenes. As you might expect from a Spike Jonze film release, this is no ordinary behind-the-scenes featurette. This is art.
