With the election just a few days away, a lot of us are thinking about, well, drinking. It’s hard not to in the midst of a campaign that has been equal parts bizarre, terrifying and surreal. But speaking of politics and booze, one whisky brand has found a way to combine the two in a way that doesn’t have us daydreaming about Canadian real estate.

Over the past few years, Laphroaig has been asking all manner of people to share their thoughts on the Scotch using the hashtag OpinionsWelcome. Which is funny because, let’s face it, a really smoky Scotch is not for everyone, which makes for some off-kilter viewpoints: likening it to a burning hospital or a moldy rock you licked from the fireplace, for example.

Now, in the spirit of this election season, they’ve released a three-and-a-half hour YouTube video in which Review’s own Andy Daly actually, hilariously reads and riffs on hundreds of these comments. He even alludes to some of the more infamous moments in filibuster history, so you’ll maybe even learn a little whilst hearing all kinds of thoughts on this Scotch, including our favorite: a bowl of vanilla ice cream from inside a forest fire. Check it out below—and bonus points to anyone who caught the TMBG reference in the headline…
