Four Pointer cocktail

The four-point shot may be a basketball pipe dream, but the Four Pointer can really exist in your glass while you watch the NCAA Men’s Final Four this weekend. Made with four ingredients, including Four Roses Bourbon, this cocktail will calm your nerves during the game, or if necessary, mend a broken basketball heart after.

Boozy, balanced, and slightly effervescent, this drink gets a hint of sweetness from Grand Marnier, and an herbal kick from Dram Apothecary’s Black Bitters. It can be made with club soda or ginger beer, depending on your preference.

The Four Pointer
2 ounces Four Roses Bourbon
½ ounce Grand Marnier
4 shots Dram Herbal Bitters
2 ounces ginger beer or club soda

Glassware: Rocks or Highball Glass

Method: Add the bourbon, Gran Marnier, and bitters, to the glass and stir. Add a handful of ice (or one large ice cube), and top off with 2 ounces of either ginger beer or club soda.
