Gadgets. They make your life easier. And more fun. And every now and then, they help you walk on a treadmill while you’re filling out Excel sheets. Speaking of which, here are 10 awesome new pieces of gadgetry for 2014. Get ’em and go!

GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition: Smaller and lighter aren’t the only new features that will have you stoked about the Black Edition. The new video mode, SuperView, captures a wide-angle perspective through the sharp new lens upgrade. $400, gopro.com

Mojo Refuel Alpha Battery Case: There’s nothing worse than running out of battery life for your phone. Or dropping your phone in a toilet. This solves both problems. It’s the world’s first rugged and fully waterproof battery case that charges your phone and provides extreme protection from the elements. $150, ibatzz.com

Boomphones Pocket Speaker: Want big sound without the bulk? This is your guy. Designed for iPhone, iPod Touch and other Bluetooth-enabled devices, the Pocket Speaker is slim enough to fit in your pocket yet loud enough to fill a room with music, thanks to speakers on both sides. $100, boomphones.com

LifeSpan Treadmill Desk: If you’re the type of workaholic who wants to hit the gym but can’t find the time because you’re chained to your cubicle seven days a week, this is for you. It’s a height-adjustable desk… that’s also a treadmill. And it’s Bluetooth-enabled. And it’s a total chick magnet. $2,000, lifespanfitness.com

Razer Nabu: Wearables are big this year. There are a lot of cool new items, but this one, from gaming company Razer, is our favorite. A cross between a smart watch and a fitness band, it tracks your daily activity but also delivers texts and email alerts. $49 (estimate), available soon, razerzone.com

Samsung 85" Bendable LED TV: What’s the advantage of a TV that can bend? It impresses your friends. Also, it puts all parts of the screen the same distance from your eye. Which supposedly makes for a more lifelike picture quality with more depth. $TBD, available someday, samsung.com

Kolibree Smart Toothbrush: Straight outta France, this is the world’s first Bluetooth-enabled smart toothbrush. Sync it with your phone via the included app to see how well you’re brushing, how long you’re brushing and whether you’re brushing the right areas. No word yet on smart floss. $100 to $200, available fall 2014, kolibree.com

Casio Sports Gear STB-1000: This iPhone-compatible watch from Casio notifies you when you’ve got texts, emails and calls. But its biggest benefit is as a training buddy—it supports four fitness apps (running, cycling, etc.) to help you track your workouts. Oh, and it’s tough as hell and waterproof to 328 feet. $TBD, available later this year, casio.com

Nikon D4S Camera: When it comes to digital SLR cameras, Nikon is as good as it gets. And here’s their new flagship pro-grade model, the D4S. Word is it’ll deliver faster autofocusing than the D4, which was already pretty fast. Translation: no more blurry birthday-party pics for you! $TBD, available later this year, nikon.com

JBL Authentics Series L16 Speaker: In addition to being gorgeous, this wireless speaker allows you to hear jaw-dropping, studio-quality sound from a single device. Making it ideal for any audiophile. Or anyone who likes music, really. $1,000, jbl.com
