20 Disney Girls Who Got Hot

What’s wrong with this picture? From an aesthetic standpoint, nothing. It’s a promo for the upcoming film Spring Breakers, and a very nice photograph. Thing is, just a couple years ago, two of those girls were starring in Disney Channel original productions. You know, the ones your eight-year-old cousin watches. Let that sink in for a minute. Nowhere do kids grow up quite as fast as they do in Hollywood, and Disney only fast tracks the process. No complaints on our end, of course. Here are 20 of the hottest former (and current) Disney stars.

Ashley Tisdale Not only did Tisdale get her start in Disney shows like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, she’s still pretty heavily involved with the company. Just last year she appeared in two Disney Channel original movies.

Aly and AJ Michalka Aly led the way for younger sister AJ with a role on the Disney Channel original series Phil of the Future, and soon both girls were appearing in Disney productions, including side-by-side starring roles in the Disney original film Cow Belles. Aly also recently appeared in Trailer Park Heroes, courtesy of our brothers at

Sara Paxton She’s gone from a guest role on Lizzie McGuire to a starring role in that one movie about the sharks.

Selena Gomez Gomez was discovered by Disney scouts in 2004, and went on to appear in a series of Disney shows and movies. She’s now in the process of establishing her Disney kid image, as evidenced by that Spring Breakers picture we showed you earlier (she’s the one on the left).

Christy Carlson Romano The former Even Stevens star is all grown up.

Demi Lovato Quite possibly crazy but definitely attractive, Lovato got her start on a series of Disney Channel shows.

Sarah Hyland We’re cheating here, because Hyland isn’t technically a former Disney girl. Instead, she got famous on Modern Family and then did a Disney Channel movie in 2011. She’s too hot not to include, though, and ABC is owned by Disney, so we’ll let it slide.

Emmy Rossum Rossum wasn’t a dedicated Disney kid, but she did star in the Disney Channel original movie Genius back in 1999.

Vanessa Morgan Morgan currently stars on the Disney Channel series My Babysitter’s a Vampire.

Camilla Belle Her first lead film role was a part in the 2000 Disney Channel movie Rip Girls, in which she played a surfer kid living in Hawaii. Belle is now best known for looking like she time-traveled here from the 1960s.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Before running from serial killers and posing for men’s magazines, Hewitt was a child actor on the Disney Channel variety show Kids Incorporated from 1989-1991.

Anne Hathaway It wasn’t too long ago that Hathaway got her big break playing an awkward teenager in the Princess Diaries movies.

Miley Cyrus Two words: Hannah Montana.

Vanessa Hudgens She was one of the leads in that god-awful plague of films that was the High School Musical series. We think we can find it our hearts to forgiver her, though. She’s also the girl on the right in that Spring Breakers picture.

Daniele Panabaker Panabaker appeared in a slew of Disney movies and shows before moving on to grown-up stuff a few years back.

Adrienne Bailon A former member of the all-girl group 3LW, Bailon starred in the Disney Channel musical The Cheetah Girls, and later appeared on That’s So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Likes: taking naughty cell phone pics. Dislikes: undies, if the censored photo above is any indication.

Britney Spears You know her story. You probably also know she was in the Mickey Mouse Club back in the day, alongside…

Christina Aguilera Seems Disney was responsible for basically all pop music in the early 2000s.

Keri Russell Russell was a member of the same Mickey Mouse Club class as Aguilera and Spears. Interestingly, so were Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. We can only assume they were all genetically engineered super children.
