So last month, we hit you with The Best Secret-Menu Items in America, and if Google Analytics can be believed, you all really loved that article. So like an offensive coordinator who keeps calling the same successful play until the defense stops it, this week we’re presenting you with even more secret-menu items available at quick-service restaurants across America. These dishes and beverages might not be as notorious as the ones in our first list, but trust us, they’re just as epic. Order them at your own peril!
Wendy’s Meat Cube: If you like meat, you’ll like the Meat Cube. This is a normal Wendy’s burger, except it contains a pound of meat! (Yep, you’re consuming the meat equivalent of four Quarter Pounders.) Eat this if you want your body to hate you forever.
KFC Triple Down: If you eat the Meat Cube and then this, you will probably die. So consider yourself warned. This sandwich has no bun. Instead, it’s kept together by two pieces of chicken—with a third in the middle for fun. In between the pieces of chicken: KFC secret sauce, melted cheese and bacon. Sure, it’s got a billion calories—but no carbs from bread!
Jack in the Box Mint Oreo Cookie Shake: If you’re one of those people who likes to complicate everything, then this is for you. Personally, I like a good, simple Oreo milkshake, but if you really feel the need to add mint to that, then go to Jack in the Box because they can do that.
Sonic Dr Pepper Orgasm: This drink consists of Dr Pepper, lemonade and Powerade, all mixed together. So unless you’re really into Powerade, that name is a bit misleading.
Sonic Frito Pie: It seems like Sonic has put a good amount of effort into their secret menu. Their Frito Pie is Fritos covered in chili and nacho cheese.
Whataburger Hulk: This drink will not turn you into the Hulk, but it will definitely give you energy. It used to be made with 75 percent Vault soda and 25 percent Powerade. But now that Vault no longer exists, it’s probably made with Mountain Dew.
Taco Bell Superman: Speaking of superheroes, Taco Bell’s Superman is a cheesy burrito with twice the beef, extra potatoes, sour cream, guacamole and fried tortilla strips. Would Superman eat this? Probably not.
Arby’s Meat Mountain: The Meat Mountain lives up to its name. It contains corned beef, roast beef, brisket, Angus beef, Swiss and cheddar cheese, roast turkey and ham. Oh, and this is all dropped on a chicken tender and then topped with bacon. Video yourself finishing this in under five minutes and we’ll send you a Made Man T-Shirt. Good luck!
