The Base Camp Trailer is basically a towable survival station that lends luxury camping essentials to your backcountry adventures. The team at Mobilight made this overland and expedition trailer completely customizable, so whether you're camping by the lake or surviving a few months on the road, you'll be prepared. Check this thing out in all its rugged glory.
The Base Camp's solid structure is fabricated with a steel tube frame and 16ga sheet steel body, with 12ga fenders built to stand on and a leaf spring axle rated for 3,500 lbs.
The trailer's finish has been sandblasted down before crafters applied a durable primer and high-performing, long-lasting powder-coated finish. It's built to withstand weather and last years.
The body of the trailer has five receiver points to accomodate other "hitch-style" accessories and roof equipment racks. The trailer weighs 1,400 lbs with no options and up to 2,300 lbs fully loaded.
It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with a sink, gas grill, dish drying racks and a magnetic knife and spice rack. Plus, there's a 250 watt solar panel above it to power the water heater, LED light towers and whatever you can plug in.
When it's time to hit the hay, the tent top package is a fairly easy setup situation, as well.
And when you wake up, you have a shower equipped with hot and cold controls and a pullout rod with a curtain ready for you at base camp.
