Diane Kruger’s latest film, Farewell My Queen, probably won’t attract a huge male audience, but you know what? That’s OK. You don’t have to see the movie to appreciate the fact that Kruger is a fine female specimen. Just look through this bio-gallery instead.
Kruger hails from Algermissen, Germany.
She initially wanted to be a ballerina, and was admitted to the Royal Ballet Company in London, but an injury ended her dancing career.
After leaving ballet, Kruger moved to Paris to work as a model, and soon decided to pursue acting.
Her time in Paris left her fluent in French. That probably came in handy when filming Farewell My Queen, which is entirely in French.
Some of her more notable roles to date include parts in Troy, National Treasure and Inglorious Basterds.
Kruger has been divorced once, and now says she doesn’t “believe in marriage.” Fine by us. How about friends with benefits?
