The term tastemaker gets thrown around a lot these days, but Lisa Ramos lives up to the title in more ways than one. On MTV2’s uber-popular Guy Code, she dishes on male behavior, however despicable. And as one of several celebs involved with just-launched 12Society, she’ll be helping select an array of cool products that ship out monthly to subscribers. For more on both gigs—and, let’s be honest, more pics—keep clicking!
MADE MAN: First off, how did you get involved with 12Society? LISA RAMOS: The 12Society team hit me up and told me what they were all about and how they had this new concept. I thought they had a great thing going on and wanted to get involved immediately.
MM: What makes it stand out from the pack? LR: The board of celebs is sick! You've got so many cool and talented people personally picking and designing things out for you.
MM: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much fun is Guy Code? LR: 10! Guy Code has to be the easiest most fun job ever. I love working with my best friend and all the comedians.
MM: The second season was the highest rated and most watched original series in MTV2 history. Besides you (of course), what makes it so popular? LR: People really love the advice because it’s so raw and real. The comedians are so crazy! The whole cast is brutally honest and the truth is funny.
MM: What can we look forward to in Season 3? LR: Expect to see a lot of weird topics discussed! Some are gross and random!
MM: Finally, you hail from the mighty borough of Queens. Any advice for dating a Queens girl? LR: Yup! New Yorkers, especially the women, don't take crap from anyone. Treat me well and I'll do the same. If not, bye!
