You may not know Maggie Grace by name, but you’ve probably seen her work before. She played Liam Neeson’s kidnapped daughter in Taken and had a regular role in early episodes of Lost. Recently, she returned to the big screen in Lockout, fighting her way through an outer-space prison alongside Guy Pearce. The flick drops on Blu-rayTM and DVD July 17 (see more at Action Unleashed). Till then, get acquainted with Miss Grace in this bio-gallery.
Grace dropped out of high school when she was 16 to move to Los Angeles with her mother. She took up acting once she got there.
She found an agent within a week of moving to LA but struggled to get regular acting work.
Early in her career, she took on bit roles in CSI: Miami, Cold Case and Law & Order: SVU.
Grace first gained prominence in 2004 with a role in the popular ABC sci-fi series Lost.
She adopted her pet cat after finding it wandering through a Hawaiian jungle while she was on set for Lost.
Among friends, Grace is known for being clumsy. In her own words: “I trip over my legs all the time. I'll wave to somebody, look up, and end up eating pavement.” With legs like those, who can blame her?
