Malin Akerman stars alongside Nicolas Cage in a film about a man racing to recover his kidnapped daughter, which in no way sounds like the movie Taken. This one is called Stolen, after all, and that's a completely different word. In any case, we enjoy Miss Ackerman in just about anything, so we'll reserve judgement. If you're not a fan of Cage flicks, just check out Malin's bio-gallery instead.
Ackerman was born in Sweden but moved to Canada as a child.
She got into modeling at a young age, but didn't think about acting until college.
Ackerman moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to pursue a career as an actress.
Her early gigs included roles in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, The Heartbreak Kid and two episodes of Entourage.
In 2009 she starred as Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre 2 in the film adaptation of Watchmen, a major role that helped boost her profile.
Akerman is also known for her comedy work, appearing on the Comedy Central series Childrens Hospital as the promiscuous and overly-dramatic Dr. Valerie Flame.
And if you weren't completely sold on her before, this picture should seal the deal.
