Body and Soul event, we asked the sexy fitness model what it takes to shape up—and what you can do to melt her heart. You are extremely popular on social media, what’s your secret? It’s really pretty simple. Just be yourself and be honest. [I’m] able to connect with a lot more people by just being me and showing a little bit of vulnerability. People connect better with those they think are “real” and a constant work in progress. So keep it real.
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? I spend some time sitting and meditating so I can focus on what I need to accomplish in the day ahead. I put myself in the proper mind frame to win.
What is your workout routine? I weight train four to five days a week. I do cardio three days a week and make sure I get one to two days of rest. My goal during cardio is to get an aerobic workout while adding shape to my legs and abs! To switch it up, I incorporate yoga, Pilates, endurance training and kickboxing. Each workout usually lasts one hour and includes five to six different exercises.
How do you deal with days when you don’t want to work out? I am my own motivation. On the days I don’t want to exercise I think about my fitness goals. I know I won’t achieve them by sitting on the couch! On days I am more crunched for time I complete one or more of the “Fit in 5” programs I created. Each is tailored to a different body part.
What does it take to be the best? A lot of hard work and consistency. You have to be ready to make the commitment and put in the work. At times things may come naturally, but it is what you do with that natural talent that separates the women and men from the girls and boys.
You’ve been through a lot, and yet you push forward. How have you dealt with failure? Life is full of disappointment and I get upset like everyone else. I try not to allow myself to stay down because when I do, it throws me off my game. I have learned to take frustration and turn it into motivation so that I work even harder and do better next time. You are always going to fall in life but its how you get back up that really matters. Keep on fighting!
What are you working on now? Right now, I am really focused on expanding my brand. I just launched my signature Fit in 5 workouts. Each program can be completed in just five minutes and requires no or “minimal” equipment. The series has been getting some great traction.

How many marriage proposals have you received? Sorry to disappoint but I am an old-fashioned kind of girl. I don’t like to kiss and tell!
If a guy meets a gorgeous fitness model, what advice would you offer him? Be confident, comfortable and just go for it! A girl likes a guy that takes a chance, no matter what the outcome may be. Now that is sexy! Most important is to be real. That is the only way things may work out in the long run.
What kind of guy do you look for? I like a guy who can make me laugh. I like to laugh a lot—especially at myself! I’m old school and I still believe chivalry is not dead. Manners and respect are important to me too.
